Activity sheet - fun, fun, fun

As an activity for my e-book I have decided to create a board game with some "little special feature" I will design the board and just in case some little figures that children can cut out and play with them, but my intention is to make them to go outside, pick up some stones, paint them and then use them as figures.

DIY - inspiration found on the Internet

From catepillar to butterfly

This game is the first I have found and I have to say even though it is designed very simply, what I really like is the hidden educational concept - evolution of caterpilar.

Memory game ( or have we call it in the Czech Republic PEXESO) is one of the biggest classic games. Even I remember it from my childhood and it was not just entertainment but also very educational as it helps to train your memory and visual skills as well.

tic tac toe game

Tic Tac Toe game is just another ever-green among desk games. Massive advantage in this game is that you can play it literally everywhere and with anything. On this picture you can also see that this game is played with pebbles wich is absolutely brilliant because there are plenty of pebbles in LakeSide Campus Site.

LET's DO IT !

This is a sketch (just brief - please bare in mind) It is not entirely LUDO. My prototype title is LOST IN GRASS and I want to highlight "bug's life". There are going to be various species of bugs, also, I want  to show Wolfies paws a little bit so it is nicely connected with the rest of the book.

Colors I want to keep vivid, bright, "happy" .

In this concept I wanted to focus on "forrest" theme. I have been thinking about having wooden texture similar to one you can see on your left and in it "engraved" the board game, similar concept of the game as in the previous one.

My anther idea was inspired by Hansel and Gretel fairy tail. I have just adapted it into Wolfie and Gretel so it corresponds with the rest of my materials.  The theme of this concept is deep dark wood where they have to go through.

I have started doing it digitally. At the beginig I struggled a lot with a typography - to use some "fun" font but legibe at the same time.At the begining, I have been thinking about "CLOSE UP IN THE GRASS" theme
