LET'S THINK VISUALLY

More and more ideas, please !

These two are my ideas that I have decided to develop further. The first one includes little pull out feature. There are going to be three pull outs - first one for "normal adults", second one for disable people - lower possition, breille ... and third one for kids. When you pull it out there is a transparent map which shows or tells you some additional information about the each sector you are in. For example if there is a bird nest near, it will show you where to look at ect...

The other idea is based on special feature from kid's book If You See A Fairy Ring which I saw in my other module with Andy Stevenson. I want to use this feature in my waysignage. Unfortunately I haven't find if somebody used it already and if that's works or not, but I found another example from advertising. It is special type of billboard which can have two advertisement and change them in some time period. I do not want to have there the mechanism that allows it to change it by itself I want to have there again the pull out feature which will make the signage more interactive.

These a re my another ideas. The first one is like a shelter in case of bad weather and one of my ideas was also let the grass grown on top and create like natural shelter ( little bit like Hobit house)

The other one is again, interactive with the users. It can spin around and therefore consist of two informational boards in one ! I have found one example of this kind of board outside.

This idea is for navigational system. I wanted to used something like animal tracking system because my very first thought was color coding navigation. After  thinking about it I think that using color coding would not be the best idea but I wanted to use some "coding". Why not animal tracks that you can follow? It is educational, not just for kids, it is fun, you can play "mapping game" with it ... I have decided to choose one animal for each sector ( lake - swan, forrest - fox/wolf, meadow, playgrounds - rabbit, the main building- human)

Similar example I have found on the picture which I have found on Instagram from Worcester Wood Country Park where are solid "panels" with animal tracks so people can educate themselve.

What I have decided to do

 map for my navigation board

animal tracks as navigation

I have tried to create a model of the signage. I am not sure if I like it though. The plain one without leaves looks too plain and the one with leaves look too much for signage. I wanted to keep natural look of it so it doesn't stand out in the enviroment.

I have tried to create a 3D model of  my wayfinding system and my information board.
